Setup:

The Annalist exists outside of and at the end of and also I guess during all time? In any case they're bored and flipping through their history of all things that ever happen and come across the story of Darkstorm Cave, where for centuries a Demon held it's lair. In that time many people died as a consequence of this Demon, and the Annalist has decided to see if they can't make a better time of clearing it out with the help of (several) conjured heroes.
